Re: notes on summer tan & hyperpigmentation

This was my previous summer skincare routine: I take long walks without sunscreen & pray not to get a tan. Then, I get a tan, followed by discolorations, hyperpigmentation, acne scars etc. Next, I spend the Fall season trying to get rid of the tan. Think multiple esthetician visits, derma visits, at home spa products & hundreds of dollars worth of Sephora products. By the next summer, I’m back in the cycle again.

So, this summer, I’m making sure I stick to a routine: morning & night. I even adopted a version of the 10 step Korean skincare routine. And the best part of having a routine? It works! The more I do it, the more my skin gets better.
